I can use glider immediately after the debuff ends. Perhaps revoked?

The glider isn't slowfall. You don't keep your speed with glider like you do with a normal slowfall. Try it with a flexweave underlay or mage's slowfall. Also this debuff only seems to be inside dungeons.

How'd you get ED to not have that neon green color? I don't see any options for specular lighting anymore. Or is it just that specific area of Emerald Dream?

Reznik made a patch that added all the textures properly.
I guess spoutnik did the same

There's no "flashy green" in the Verdant Fields, but for the Canyon and the Forest, I have a patch (made a few years ago) that removes it

I searched for quite a bit and the only videos I can find of how to get to emeral forest / emeral dream are making a private server, going to portal in duskwood and typing in some teleport command

It's the same concept on live servers. Except most swap with Deepholm I believe and the filetype is different. (Not sure what Spoutnik swaps w/ but I know Nyarly does deepholm.)

Is this legal to do? Is it not classed as tampering with the game files? If no, what exactly occurs when you do this? Does it act like a non-live version of the game, like single player almost?

It is not legal to do... it is classified as tampering with game files.
Use at your own risk... but if you're careful, discreet, and not malicious, people have been doing it for years...
