In an attempt to find anything interesting during this quest: Roll Club: Serpent's Spine - Quest - World of Warcraft - I entered offline mode and went on rolling.. I couldn't find anything special, so I ended up in the ocean:

Here is something recent from Blackrock Depths. The floor disappeared when viewed from a certain angle, and I thought it made for an interesting screen shot.

Considering they are both at the same spot, a sticky wall would be my guess. Go have a look for yourself, finding your own ways always gives a rewarding feeling. ^^
