[Glitch] - Bypass ANY wall using the Darkmoon Tiger!

I have been trying to do the same.
The only wall that seems possible for me is the blue marked one: https://i.imgur.com/slbNa.jpg
But it's kinda difficult, you have to use three tigers most of the time and change the angle by almost 90 degree before placing the third, else you will respawn in Westfall by logging back in. To check if you finally are through that wall you can use a Crashin' Thrashin' Racer - NPC - World of Warcraft.
Then you have to find the right direction to rocket boot & slow fall into the Cleft of Shadows. That jump is the one that I have not been able to do until now. I think, you have to find the gap in the tent with those mushrooms in it: imgur: the simple image sharer (Image taken with WoW Map Viewer as you are unable to see anything when you are glitched through that wall)
I have tried to find the right direction by using an ability that puts the green targeting circle under your cursor (i.e. Wild Mushroom - Spell - World of Warcraft) to detect solid objects and to find the right direction. As I said, that's the jump I have not been able to accomplish so far. I hope that helps you a little

This is great work Kaldonir. Exactly the wall and angle that I was trying, and where I am stuck as well. I have to spread before giving you rep again, or I most definitely would.

And yep, dellion's gravity well exploration was really sick. Everytime i tryed to use it on other instances, it didn't work but i don't know if it has been fixed or not ...

Not fixed. I was in Grim Batol using this again today. A wicked trick, to DC when you get the debuff from the Gravity Well. I was standing nearly at the top of the instance today.

Indeed! As I said in my original post I would have never found this if it weren't for Carcinogen, who actually discovered the glitch during his VoA exploration. All I did was notice the potential use for explorers everywhere and make a user-friendly guide.

I've tried that a few times... but the Darkmoon Tiger glitch requires a logout. Every time I log back in, it immediately puts me through the portal and I end up in Orgrimmar every time.

Not sure how to explain why it does this but sometimes leaving the mount gets me further in than logging out; it may be because i am a tauren currently but im not sure.

Wow, nice find Trokair! I still lurk around here from time to time, and this is an awesome find. I am thinking this might make me resub to WoW for a month just to explore with this. I just can't remember if I still have any Darkmoon Tigers, since I think Darkmoon is over for the month of August.

Are you logging out or disconnecting? If you log out and wait the 20 seconds you should be standing at the Tiger's location and not riding it any longer. Disconnecting does not work, nor does jumping off manually or waiting 3 minutes for the Tiger to disappear. It has to be an actual logout.

Well I was DCing using the current DC macro and didn't even think to just, you know, log out. Clicking the actual "log out" button.
I feel stupid but grateful !

DC Macro is fixed as of today. Didn't try picking up any other items that have been removed though, so maybe a dif item not in game will still dc. Though I'm sure they probably fixed the whole thing at once.

Since I don't have an active subscription right now, I decided that I would try this on the PTR (I think its patch 5.0.4.) I was either doing something wrong, or it has been fixed on the PTR. I also found out that blinking though walls as a mage has also been fixed on the PTR, so I am pretty sure it will make it to retail when MoP comes out =( On the bright side, I found out I had around 230 DMTs, so if I can scrounge $15 before the drop of MoP I might be able to explore a little with this. Not sure why Blizz allows me to still play on the PTR, when I haven't had a active subscription since the end of March :/

being honnest mate, new expansion = tons of tons of tons of programming code, there is no way to test it to work how it should in 100% also there is no 100% that everything will work as intendend =)

Are you absolutely sure of this?

I thought it was fixed on the MoP Beta as well... but then I realized they just nerfed it. It was still possible, just not quite as easy. Had to hit it moving and/or at the right angle. Being at a place where an object (like a castle wall) intersected seemed to help. On the Beta, anyhow.

Just tried it on the PTR, now you have to move forward & sideways to blink under the map, it's not as easy as on live but it's still possible.
The DMT glitch seems to be fixed anyway on PTR.
