[Challenge] Master of Exploration (Hard Mode Edition!)

The way you take screenshots all from the same angle suggests there is something on the other side you don't want us to see, but when I go there, I can only see empty space?

Edit: this is all inside Tol'Vir instance of course.

Khamul mentioned that this challenge can be done solo, without special class abilities.

What non-class-specific, solo method are you using to get out of Tol'Vir? I would love a video, if you have found one!

Trok the way we get out is the old growth (where i did you normal challenge) jump in water and explore offline mode. haven't found a way around DC border online

The same angle is fortuity, nothing to hide on the other side.

And now I'm not sure it's possible by every class in solo, but I'm sure every class can rush it.

Khamul also said this challenge does not require offline mode...but now he is saying he is not sure it can be done solo by any class... so that leads me back to Tol'Vir and using friends (shadowstep, etc) to get past the invisible walls...


Remember how a while back there were some invisible walls (and sticky walls) that you could *catch* on, and jump up and catch, and gain infinite height that way? I actually did this outside of Grim Batol the first time I got out and got pretty far up that invis wall...I've done it in Old Hillsbrad, too. I'm sure we've all done it once or twice... I just haven't in a while...

Could it be that Khamul has simply found a wall in Tol'Vir (and again above in Well of Eternity), or the method that allows him to do this easily?

This could be it then! Couldn't you just jump up that and then goblin-glider over to the goal?

If the wall is in-between you and the goal... couldn't you use a friend (shadowstep, etc) to get through the wall, and climb it the same exact way on the other side?

I don't have friends (/cry) or I'd try myself...

You can't move in any directions, only up. Maybe this wall isn't endless, but I don't have enough patience to check it out.

Maybe the wall is or isn't endless... and maybe there's a way to break through it somehow or get the inertia to get over there. This is hard mode... so I feel we've gotten closer. I mean, you got that shit on your screen!
