Just a note--for my video there was a bug in the render so the first like 50 seconds went black, skip to ~0:55 to see video!

Here is a video for the updated version of the Worgen starting zone escape. This video shows how to avoid the roof jumping, and shows the northern coast "unknown" spot previously mentioned.
Thank You Wizard. I will be updating this thread frequently. Thank you for finding the past methods and the current one.![]()
Holy crap, you're right! I just went and tried, and the disconnect / Alt+F4 step is no longer necessary.... this is a huge development in this glitch, IMO. +2 rep for you, StygianSec.
I wish I had known before I made my video... I'll have to edit the description.

UPDATE: http://www.ownedcore.com/forums/worl...d-worgens.html (Escaped worgens.)
Apparently all of our escaped Worgens now have their racials, and future escapees get them when they hit Westfall. Looking forward to checking this out tonight when I get home from work.
Also, if things are like they were on the PTR, you can no longer hearth back to the starting zone![]()
Hello, and thanks for the post! Got a question tho.. When Im trying to leave Gilneas, and Im standing at the edge and am about to dc... What can I do if i accidentally jumps off the edge? I die, but I cant ressurect, I just float around in Gilneas, unable to do anythin.. please help!(:
^^^ Just use Alt + F4 to close your game, and wait about 20 minutes. You should be able to log back on at that time.
(although you've probably figured this out by the time I am typing this)
I don't want to be a necro poster... but has there been any updated versions of this method as of late?
Why do you ask? No updated method needed... the old method still works, afaik.
Just confirming that Trokair's method is working. The other ones are fixed because they added invisible walls to most of the areas that you need either jump or walk though to get to the unknown zone. I noticed that Blizzard made it so you learn Two Forms spell/racial upon leaving the zone, so they hotfixed this in some point of view. Here are screenshots of proof that a level 1 has twin forms and all the other Worgen racials.
Thanks for the exploration though. I remember doing this when it first came out, so it brought back good memories of Cata launch
If anyone would like to also confirm that they learn the Worgen racials upon departure, that would be great. I might have messed something up in the process of getting out.
