Wait - so people are actually rocket booting, cliff diving and Thyrm charging to their deaths, and then spending hours trawling the world in ghost form like some ghoulish Columbus figures in search of secret, ghost, quest giver NPCs?

And they are doing this despite millions of players having already perished (repeatedly) to ill-timed murloc patrols and subsequently traversing every inch of accessible terrain in those inevitable out of body experiences.

Not to mention the data mining and private servers...

We better get Scully and Mulder in on this.

I talked to a GM and he said, that on this question NEVER a GM will answer. So there MUST be something secret. Why the hell do they shouldnt say if there is nothing? And NanaCry. Just this what Bazra wrote. If there is something secret, then not at the normal places, because, in 5 1/2 years of wow, 10 million players... a secret shouldnt be stay a secret, if its easy to reach.

Private servers only display NPC's we know about, either through the DBC's or by looking and seeing what NPCs go where on live servers. If no one has ever encountered these supposed ghost quests/npc's, then private servers won't have them either.

Going to add in the idea that alliance and horde may have a few seperate hidden quests similar to how the ones above wc can only be done by horde, just incase this is what blizzard have done with the quests, would you mind shading the ones that have been run through on alliance as blue and the ones that have been run through on horde as red and another colour for the ones that have been run through by both factions? would be rather helpful, cheers.

So i'm not sure if I'm the only person who knows about this *I'm sure I'm not but I've yet to hear anyone else knowing about it, maybe thats because I dont talk to people who would* but there is a house outside of normally ran areas on the shore outside of dun morough or what ever the zone is, to lazy to look.
It has a dock on it and MANY skeletons all over the house, it seems odd that it would be there for no reason at all, mainly since there is no way to get to it other than going under SW *or from westfall north* and swiming north to get to it, anyway it seems that would be a good place to check out, I myself have never gone to it dead but seems like it would be a worthy place to check.

This is, I guess, one of the oldest things ever. It's nice that you found it by yourself, but you won't surprise anyone here with such obvious things to be honest. I don't want to sound harsh here.

Do you think that this kind of quest goes in the correct direction we're looking for? Give me some insights

This is not "secret" as we're searching.
Everyone can see this one normally and if u check the wowhead page it's not that secret.

We're searching for quests that you can start only being dead. Like the one in blackrock mountain.
When npcs doesn't give you the quest when you talk to them alive OR npcs who only appear when you're dead and give you a quest.

About to find something to kill me in moonglade, give me half hour and ill edit my findings.
Well... i thought i was onto something, maybe im not who knows, i ran through the whole zone as a ghost and found a way ontop of the mountains overlooking moonglade from the north eastern part of the map, on one of the eastern mountains there is a spike next to a tree, i checked when alive afterwards, its exactally the same, looks like a smaller version of bonespike but untextured (got screenshots if needed), maybe someone can shed some light on it. Now to attempt to find where other more likely areas would be for something hidden...

I don't know, man. Smells kind of fishy. The guy could tell us where each ghost tells you to go, but not the name of the ghost or anything more than a vague and possibly time-wasting location? Still, I'll take a look through ghostlands and eversong when I get some free time.

Wow, that GM can neither write correct German nor write typical wow-terms correctly ("Gadezan" instead of "Gadgetzan"). Are you sure that you took that screenshot on a live server?
Edit: Okay, there's only one mage called Akalarion on eu servers, so that must be yours. Anyways, I don't know how this guy got the job as Gamemaster.

Haya im sorry for you to say, but, the German GMs dont know ANYTHING about ghoustquests. Today, I talked 20min with one, and he learned from me about exploration, and at first, he thought there are NO quest givers in Ghostform. And he said that he is GM for some years. Just after asking the other GMs (i lol'd so hard xD), he said that there are some Ghostquestgivers, like in Blackrock or Scholo. After that, i linked him the US topic where some players say their information, they got from GMs and he said thank you for the information, I should say him if i get new informations about this theme. So never ask german GMs again about ghostquestgivers.
