There were rumors about 15 or 16 quests that had never ever been completed in WoW. I think you discovered one of them. This is a very very nice find. And also very interesting. +rep for sure!

I also remember hearing that there were at least 8 quests at the time of WoW's release that weren't fully finished, and might never have been finished. I think the majority of them were ends of quest lines that didn't make sense to lore or something like that. It's pretty bizarre that the server-side scripts are still active... which kinda gives me hope that more things will be discovered before Cataclysm.

I went there with my shaman and did what you did, I saw the NPC's, afterwards I tried every single emote in WoW on the Elemental, nothing happened :-( Im kinda hoping there is something more about these elementals

Re-Uploaded to Warcraft Movies seeming Vimeo decided to randomly delete the video and gave no reason behind it... And also added how to obtain Sapta to OP.

Could probably investigate the elemental's further if i levelled a brand new shaman and tried using this but checking the Air NPC's whilst at different stages of the current Call of Air quest. Maybe speaking to the elemental was originally intended to be done b4 the leap of faith part...

U never know it might still be connected just the current quest skips this part .
