Thanks for showing this. Alpha IF looks more like a Gnome capital with all those stairs, ladders and intricate ways Ironforge that we can see in game nowadays reminds me of Khazad-dûm of Peter Jackson's version of LotR.

I have to agree with most people here, I like the looks of the alpha version of Ironforge... the problem with the pathways/bridges would be navigating them, though. That, I would not enjoy.

IF Looks epic in alpha version, a actual realistic town. And despite the fact all the stairs, thats why we have MOUNTS and hax xP. And a elevator was pretty cool to.

actually, I think it was LSD, cuz one of them was prob trippin balls and he was playing wow and running through if, he fell of a bridge and him being all like he is was like AHH AHHHH OMFG NOOO AHH IM FALLING!!! and then he prob told the others to fix it and make it so he couldn't fall down so easy.

Post-script: Also, wouldn't it be awesome of some1 at blizz dug out these files and went through IF, then said "Hey, what if after cataclysm IF gets partialy destroyed and then the short little scottish dudes re build it like we had originaly planed to" eh eh? that would be great but tis but a dream
