Making a server for the first version of WoW ever

So i just found a repack for 1.2.3v of WoW, the original launch version.

look at those stupid talent trees - Paladin (1.2.3.4211 - EU Start) Talent Calculator

Who wants to play it with me?

I wish they brought back these talent trees.
Along with the months long farming before you eventually ding max-lvl.
Not to talk about epic riding skill, which was 1000g. I remembered being "the man" for finally getting epic riding.
Doing Onyxia, Ahn Qiraji and Naxxramas.. those were the days.
Farming AV for 6 hours strait to deliver enough resources so the midfield boss could be summoned!

Nothing stupid about it in my book. People are so lazy these days.

So, good idea of you to start up a vanilla server
(won't be playing though, just had to share my rage)

Yup and don't forget warriors, being the only actual tanks in the game, with their sunder armour spam. What fun.

1000g? Pretty sure epic mounts were only 600g from memory (not that I had anywhere near that much).

On topic, there are vanilla emulator servers that exist and a couple that are relatively popular.

On topic, there are vanilla emulator servers that exist and a couple that are relatively popular.

They were originally 1000g for the riding skill and a bit extra for the mount without the reputation discounts. See these old patch notes for my source.

haha thats a really fun idea but i didnt see the point where its being a normal server with population. because many people play on prebc servers by memories but at my friends and known peoples i am the only one who play wow from the eu start.
