The amount of silliness in this thread is amazing. After killing this mob, have you tried looting it? If so, that should prove the gm theory false right there. Players cannot have loot interfaces, and neither can Game Masters. The game just doesn't work that way. Also, how can a gm change his Npc type + Familiy to something like "Scarab Scarab" when it doesn't exist in the DBC files?

lol funny how people really belive GMs are so powerful; they cant give you gear just like that it goes through a thorough inspection. taking actions such as that can get them fired they are under heavy survaelence inorder to stop tehm from abusing the game.

also the interface bug can be caused by an addon adn i can ebt the lot of you where using atleast one similar addon which could easily cause it

I don't know if it is a addon bug, but in an emulated server if you are invisible and appear to someone it doesn't say it in your chatbox. He could have done that. If it was a GM.

If people would actually pay attention and realize that the initial GM references were a joke then this could have been avoided.

If people who didn't understand the way the game works didn't comment on GM issues that they CLEARLY have no knowledge on this could have been avoided.

btw.. how can it be a hidden GM ?? :P they are inside ZF... an instance.... the GM need to be in same group as the player to see them...

^ This. GM's interact in the world the same way players do. They can just do it with more easy and accessibility.

For a player to talk to you, they must be on the same server or battleground.
For a GM to talk to you, they MUST be on that server [I have knowledge of a GM ever joining a BG].

For a player to see another player in an instance, they must be in the IDENTICAL instance and ID. This requires them to be grouped (only exceptions is when they get saved at different times and enter as seperate groups to the same ID (rare and not the point)).
SAME APPLIES TO A GM {They must be in the same ID, don't need to be grouped}.

Interface(due to addon)/Server side bug are the 2 MOST likely causes.

thats neither an explot nor rare, im having such bugs often for example drekthar gets some couple of times Humanoid extra in that tooltip, seems that it can mainly occur to npcs
