btw.. how can it be a hidden GM ?? :P they are inside ZF... an instance.... the GM need to be in same group as the player to see them...

This is not a hidden GM, or a hidden anything. Its an interface bug.

Had the same happen to me on Mimiron, where he was called "Mimiron Mimiron".

And i've had it happen on some other mobs too. Its just the interface messing up.

I've seen this a bit too. GM in dis***** was my first guess as well. I know they have the ability to do this, but I wouldn't put it past bl!zz to make mistakes hiding their gms.

Having said that, they can become invisible, or not embody a chracter at all. Seems odd that a GM would become a scarab just to watch you do ZF

The amount of silliness in this thread is amazing. After killing this mob, have you tried looting it? If so, that should prove the gm theory false right there. Players cannot have loot interfaces, and neither can Game Masters. The game just doesn't work that way. Also, how can a gm change his Npc type + Familiy to something like "Scarab Scarab" when it doesn't exist in the DBC files?

this prolly wasnt a gm.

however gms have been known to watch VERY early MC runs.

so yes its deff possible a gm can be in the instance with u without u knowing.

Erm Gastric, We couldn't loot the corpse. And is it possible for three people each with different addons to recieve the same interface error? =/ If so then yes your more than likely right.

Hey please ppl, leechers really THINK it was a GM. How did this all start? Xel just said it was a GM cus the pic looked so funny. I'ts a common interface bug in this patch, dont take everything seriously guys.. Looks like there's no limit for stupidness
