Well you were correct... your Hellfire Ramparts challenge was solved rather quickly... however I must question its placement in this non-hard mode thread. I would have surely thought of the Hellfire mountain as a Hard-Mode challenge. To my knowledge, you need other classes and abilities with you in order to reach that spot in Ramps, correct? I had to do it with a Druid friend or with a Warlock summon from Dalaran... is it possible to make this journey solo by any class without having significant wall-climbing abilities? (or perhaps no one cares and I should just keep my Wizard trap shut?)

To be honest, I think that's a valid question but a question that loses its importance as soon as the challenge is solved within hours.

I think it's a more appropriate question when the challenge couldn't be solved within a week, if you know what I mean.

There is a way to get out of hellfire ramparts without a specific class. So since this exploring doesn't require any specific class or profession, it should be good to go...

Oh, of course, SoNET. I wasn't referring to getting out of the dungeon proper... I was referring to the arduous mountain climb...
As Kaldonir suggested though... I'll keep my Wizard's trap shut until such issues gum up the works.

Well you could always do the climbing legitimately which does not require anything but skill. Though I must admit that I used my warlock to climb it

Aye... but that particular climb would take a mountain of skill... if you'll excuse the pun. It was always the intention of this Master of Exploration thread that any race or class with fairly minimal exploration skill could join in the fun... at least that is the way I've always understood it, and the way I promote it to others.

This is why I started the "Master of Exploration - Hard Mode" thread... in order to promote the exploration by the more seasoned explorers using our Rocket Boots and Warlock Leaps and offline modes and more devious tricks... however I find myself playing "thread police" more than I intend to... often I tell myself to just sit back and let the games play out... but I can't help myself sometimes... Clearly our explorers in this forum have stepped up and now everyone here is practically on the level of Master Explorer... but I sit at an office computer screen all day so sometimes have more time on my hands to comment than is good for me...

*edit: And to get things back on track... Kaldonir has posted a wicked image! Can anyone find it??

    Looks like instanced Kun-Lai Summit...

I think it's inside one of the hollow Shado-pan Monastery buildings in Kun-Lai - I remember seeing a big 'pit' like that in the world that looked very, very similar.

    That's non-instanced Kun-Lai summit incidentally.

I could be wrong though, it's been a while since I've been there.
