How to restore windows...

Hey guys, i have asked alot of questions and have gotten them all answered and everything was well. but i have one more question.

Is there a way to restore my windows to a default windows??

Like it deletes EVERYTHING i have ever downloaded and makes it the windows when i JUST got it???

Because i have downloaded alot of stuff. and now i have keyloggers hacking my WoW account via things i have downloaded, i have literally spent 2 weeks trying to get rid of them and they keep coming back even if i dont download anything / use the internet, i run symantec full virus scans on my comp, yet i still get keylogged. Can anyone help me???

I just want the windows i had when i just got it or installed it, without having to reinstall because 1. i dont know how to do that, and 2. I dont have the CD's or the keys to reinstall... Thank you.


P.S On my other laptop, i run virus scans and it found this virus called " Backdoor.Graybird" well i have searched everywhere to get rid of it and it wont get off my comp.... and i keep getting a Cmd.exe error telling me " The NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction.." i dont get it, please help.

Well First off No Question Here. Now that u got that yes there is a way but u must either buy the cd's from your computer manufacturing company or the cd's came with it. I had to do this because i was a fool and never scaned any of my downloads and i got a terrible virus on my comp and i think i accidenly downloaded somehing in like the D drive and my computer could barly work but back on the subject, yes there is a way to do it but u might have to buy the Cd's. But its worth it because it completly restores your computer to the way it was when u bought it. There only like 17 bucks though I think you get the number to call off of the packaging software or something but you can probably get it by calling some computer store. Hope this helps

ya, buy the windows cd's... or just do a system restore????
Start menu>All Programs>Accessories>System32>System Restore

Just click on the little calendar to revert back to the day you want. Completely wipes everything and restarts with the setting you had then.

Edit: System Tools*** , not System32

Yeah system restore will work but he might have waited to long and i think it only lets you go back about a month so if he waited longer then that he has to buy the cd's.

Wow, guys, I don't think that was necessary, I know there aren't supposed to be questions here, but it was already stated that there should be no questions here, so what was the point of making useless posts like those?

System restore allows you to go back around 3 months.

Ok sorry if it was posted I didn't read all of the posts here, but I just did this a few days ago haha. Just restart all your drives (I only restarted C so I don't know if others will work)
