NO, NO NO NO NO NO NO!
STOP!
You only stayed the same personal rating because you weren't in the match, and personal rating "gauges" your personal skill. It only goes up or down if you're in the match that played it. And you would only get personal rating against a 1400 team as if your team rating was 1700, therefore VERY LITTLE and probably NONE.
or just not join the arena when it pops up and asks you to enter...

The in-game web browser! No more alt-tabbing out of full screen games!
Yes this could be very useful just depends if ur rating is calculated with teams rating
For those who didn't follow and I can see a few who didn't.
You deliberately sacrifice TEAM rating and a partners personal rating on the team soo that you can still play lower rated teams and get higher Personal Ratings.
This works to a certain degree as Blizzard calculates Personal Rating as a difference between Team Rating and Personal Rating... Soo its good for say, a 80-100 boost to Personal Rating.
Okay, since no one can get the explanation right I'll explain it... Look at your games played compared to his. Since you didn't join the game your personal rating stayed the same before you guys entered the match, but since your partner lost his personal rating and your team rating went down. So your sacrificing your team as awhole of trying to do this, but it's up to you.
FIRST of all, its personal raiting u were not in the game so you werent affected and also he can go byhims self and get his own down and urs will be up!!!!!
When life gives you lemons, throw 'em back and yell "MAKE YOUR OWN F*CKING LEMONADE!!"
Doesn't seem like an exploit to me. You didn't lose the match so you didn't lose rating. What's wrong with that?
Interesting idea, worth looking into.
This is not very effective because the points you earn personally are based on the team you faced. So if your team is at 1600 and your personal rating is at 1800, you'll be getting points based on the team you are facing being 200 points lower than you.
So, what happens if your Personal is say 1700, and your team rating drops to like 1500, but you keep your Personal Rating using this trick, if you won a game at 1500 rating, would your Personal Rating go up?
If so, this is an incredibly good exploit, easily doable in 5v5 where if you or a friend dies and you know it's a lose, just pull this off![]()
It doesnt have to be this complicated.
1) Queue for arena.
2) Wait for it to pop.
3) Entire team leave queue or refuse to join.
No one will lose personal rating, but the team will lose rating. However, there is a limit to how much you can abuse this.
Ingenious! Will try when I get back into a team.If it works, +rep
