It's too obvious.

As I've said, banning a player most likely results in another purchase of a new copy of the game. Why? Because of the addicting aspect of the game. Meaning you set yourself certain goals and suddenly you cant fulfill them anymore. How many % truly say "Ok, bye to this game." and how many either build their alt-account similar to their now banned main? I do not want to believe this is true, but the possibility in the business model "is" there.

The rule goes as followed: If more players do it, if everyone does it, there is no banning. Banning only happens to a minority. Simply threat of the business plans, you cant ban everyone. So USE IT. And dont be afraid. Afraid of what? OMG I am picking up another pixel item in a game, I am so threatened, I think I die LOL get a grip!

I don't think that's the case. I can't find it right now, but there's a blue post stating that blizzard doesn't impose permanent bans anymore (at least to some degree) to give the players a chance to learn from their mistakes. Permanent bans would cause banned players to buy a new copy, yes. But they don't care about this new account as there is nothing on it to lose, so they tend to exploit the game again. That's roughly how they argued. And from what I have observed, their suspensions still seem to get softer and softer.
Well, ofc Blizz wouldn't officially admit it if they really banned out of financial interests, but I still don't think that they intentionally break their own game for that purpose :P

What have you done to receive a 6month suspension, though? :P Maybe if you use third party programs. But exploits like this one will probably get you banned for 1-2 weeks.
