More loot a world boss

I believe he is saying if you hit the boss, then enter your LFR that just popped, it won't count that you did the world boss but you get the chance at loot and postbro should give it to you.

1.Tag boss to do some dmg.
2.Hop on a group who does the exact same boss and tag that one too.
3.Wait till the boss is down then loot
4.Profit???

I just did the boss 20 minutes ago and don't have an alt to try but if someone can, please do try this and see if it works.

So I just tried this, and I'm not sure if it works or not.

I first went to the world boss on my own server and tagged it. I then accepted the invite to a new server to kill the boss there, transfered and tagged the boss on the new server.

While I was fighting the world boss on the new server, the gloves dropped for me (from the first one dying), but when the boss I was currently fighting died, all I got was the quest completed.

So it's hard to tell if I was loot-locked, or just unlucky. But I'd say you should at least try it.

Update:
So I jumped on my alt to try the LFR method. Tagged him and went into the LFR group (and finished it). When I got back out he was dead, and I didnt get any loot. However on my next attempt, I was awarded loot while inside the LFR, so it seems to work. I can't keep testing since our server doesnt seem to kill him often enough.

Crazy exploit if that's the case, be careful, might get you banned.

Doesn't work. When the boss in your server dies (wherever you tag him first) you get lootlocked. And you only get Quest completed dialogue in the next realm you tag in. No additional loot. Tried it on 2 characters now.

From what I understand he did the Group finder method posted in Elite, which doesn't seem to work.

The LFR method might however. I got loot from my second attempt at joining an LFR group after tagging him. In theory it should work, however I have no way in knowing if the first boss I tagged reset while I was inside the LFR. If it did, then it probably doesn't work. But I suggest someone try it, I've locked myself for the week (and my server is dead af) so I can't further test it.

Edit:
Just in case it isn't clear to anyone yet, try the following:

1 - Queue for LFR
2 - Tag worldboss and enter the LFR queue
3 - Stay in LFR until boss is dead (Not entierly sure if you can teleport out or not while World Boss is still alive).
4 - Repeat until you get loot.
5 - If boss dies and you get loot, it will pop up while you're inside the LFR.

I queued for LFR, tagged him and then entered the LFR group.. in midway boss fight, got loot from first boss and nothing (not even gold) from 2nd boss but only world quest complete dialogue and 1k Resources.

EDIT : I thought by LFR he meant for Custom group. My bad, didnt try the LFR one. Sorry again.
