My friend and I were trying it. Doesn't seem to work but we did find that sometimes I was able to mine it even though it had mana still left on it but most of the time it couldn't mine it at all. There could be an exploit here but we couldn't figure it out:

We tried these things: (Friend was mana capped, not me. We only tried this on ones that dropped mana he couldn't pick up)
Him killing it himself then I would attempt to mine it (not in party)
Him killing it himself then I attempt to mine it (while in a party)
Him and I tagging it then attempting to mine it (not in party)
Him and I tagging it then attempting to mine it (while in party)

Most of the time it wouldn't let me mine it but about 3 times it would. However after mining it the body would disappear and nothing spawned.

I don't know if everyone is saying it doesn't work to keep it fixed longer, or they're doing it wrong... I had great success but didn't do it more than 20min for fear of a ban.

You don't even need to have "max mana" just loot the mob, leave the mana, exit the window, loot again, leave the mana, and your friend should be able to mine the corpse. I think that was the process I did.

OP probably has the best exploit in legion thus far. Hopefully everyone understands that blizzard will readily hand out a PERMA BAN for something like this.

No they dont. I posted the Infinite Fel Hide/Brimstone/Felwort Exploit and made 10million and nothing happend.

A little confused at several points - at least on my addon, 32, 53 in Suramar is on a hill with some foxes, no basilisks.
The nearest basilisks are felFIRE, not felSLATE, (slate being the ones that spawn from mining other basilisks).
Killing those felfire ones with a max-mana character both partied and solo result in unmineable corpses for the living felslate 1-star trained miner.
Pretty differing reports here, what am I missing?

Can you explain exactly how you did it then? Do you have to be in a party? Do you both have to tag it? I can never seem to get it where I am able to mine it. Does it have to be felSLATE or felfire ones? I can not find any felslate basilisks.
