Sharing it weeks before it's actually useful doesn't do any good. It gives Blizzard time to fix it, before anyone has taken advantage of it.
Had OP chosen to share it on the day Legion launches, one could hope that Blizzard was busy with other things, that'd make the launch more smooth.
Now, you can be almost certain they'll hotfix it.

It might only be 3% of the entire experience pool needed to get to 110, but some people like to maximize leveling speed.
Hell, I even saved my anniversary item for Legion leveling.

This is classified as a beta exploit because it only has a purpose on there, and thanks to this post it will not end up going live.

Again, leaking an exploit that doesn't have any use for 2 weeks, is pointless. Not once did I say don't post this, or save it for myself, etc. Be REASONABLE and INTELLIGENT about things that are NOT RELEASED YET.

Also, this site is much more than sharing exploits, and if it was truly about sharing then why is there an elite section? Pretty sure it's a share if you want to, I'm still allowed to criticize his timing considering if it gets fixed before launch he didn't share anything.

If you haven't collected all the Dreanor treasures, you might still be able to pickup this item : Obsidian Frostwolf Petroglyph - Item - World of Warcraft

Another equivalent item is available in Shadowmoon valley : Ashes of A'kumbo - Item - World of Warcraft

What it does is giving 5% rested XP on use, which can be used to speed up slightly your progression when Legion hits.

There is also treasures from Spire of Arak that are meant to not work above level 99 but actually do work on the Beta thanks to a testing from Scrud :



Hope it helps some of you, you'll save maybe 10 minutes of leveling, but it takes 30 seconds to get so why not

Not only that but all the treasures in Dreanor give exp as well as Pandaria. So if you have your lvl 100 DH @ a garrison (as i do) you'll have a lot of exp to fly around & pick up once Legion launches. The DHs come w/ Pandaria flying on the Beta (ive tested) & assuming you have the Pathfinder achievement this will take no time at all & net you a grip of exp & gold. Also when doing this remember to use Darkmoon Top hats - Darkmoon Top Hat - Item - World of Warcraft - to add an extra 10% exp & rep gains. You can get the same buff from a Darkmoon Carousel ride but i like the Top Hats better as you can buy several & take them w/ you alowing you to re-set the buff as needed w/o a return to the faire.

Revealing an exploit that can be done only in a future patch means you RUIN that exploit as it gets better chance to be fixed before anyone can do it. This doesn't help at all.

Are you absolutely sure ruining future exploits is the goal of this site?

They all work on beta, I tested them all and they gave 5% exp each. Also, the bonus objectives still give a lot of EXP. The Nagrand one down bottom left with orcs give 75K exp on beta.

Quoting myself; the nagrand exp one got nerfed to 23K exp. The rested exp items still work.

This is getting hotfixed thanks..... why you not wait til Legion is Live? See people destroy exploits before they happen suck so much....I was about to post on Release but now RIP Exploits before it happen....this is so.....

30% of 1 level? And you all complain that it will be nerfed? Why whould blizzard care if you get 30% rested XP of only 1 level. I am sure they don't even touch it.

Wow I can see you are really upset about this, the guy shared a discovery that he found, there are no rules about posting an exploit so it will not get fixed...
He could have put it in general I agree, but no need to be a complete dick about it, maybe you should thank him for his post and then provide your feedback?

There are rules about posting exploits, you stated exactly what rule he broke.

He can share it early all he wants, but he is also going to be told that it was stupid to do so from those that realize it was a BAD idea. He proceeded to argue instead of take the criticism, specifically with arguments that had nothing to do with him sharing it early and was called out for it. I'm sorry you do not realize that he is allowed to share it early as much as I am allowed to make fun of him for it.

As of now this is fixed, so all of the people that thanked him, gave him rep, etc gave it to him for no reason, now what use was this thread other than to make sure it got fixed?
