    Holy shit that is awesome, I can't believe you're allowed to Fel Rush with the cart.

    Watch the video on the previous page. Being able to extend the normal duration/distance of a spell through intentional lag is 100% an exploit.

    Lagging is not an exploit, especially not when you're using a third-party program to do it

    I think it can be considered as one when a skill like this improve too much your run speed and make you able to litteraly fly and reach area where you are not supposed to be.

    Also, as i could see and try it myself, you can climb a very steep wall by using this, i was testing it in the open world (not so usefull as you can simply mount up and fly) but i guess there are some places where this is usefull somehow

    Considering everyone in the whole area can see you doing it i don't think that's a great idea.

    Yep.

    Lagging with speed increases is nothing new though, as someone said above. You can do it with any movement ability in the game really.

    I got banned for doing this on my feral druid back in cataclysm in battlegrounds. However, doing it in instances and such by yourself is usually no risk.

    Just to be clear.

    var n = SELECT toons WHERE xyzCords.Sqrt > 100

    foreach(var i in n) {
    Ban(n);
    }

    As to "can they do that, its 3rd party" to which the answer is in the EULA

    Unauthorized Connections: Facilitate, create or maintain any unauthorized connection to Battle.net or the Game(s) including without limitation (i) any connection to any unauthorized server that emulates, or attempts to emulate, Battle.net; and (ii) any connection using third-party programs or tools not expressly authorized by Blizzard;

    Disruption: Disrupt or assist in the disruption of (i) any computer used to support Battle.net or any Game environment; or (ii) any other player’s Game experience. ANY ATTEMPT BY YOU TO DISRUPT BATTLE.NET OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF ANY GAME MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS.

    Actually, legally speaking they could come after you not just post ban but through civil proceedings (not that they would given the cost vs reward) but thats within their right.

    I mean, i'd probably do this exploit for small "human-centric" bursts.. but if you get the impulse to fly mountless across an entire zone like this, it would be trivial for them to filter and single out assuming they have the reporting capabiltiies.

    I'd be extremely warying of blurring the difference between law and things corporation say. A corporation can make all kinds of stupid rules. These are nothing to do with the law. A court will not enforce a corporate regulation unless it coincides with a breach of the law. Corporations like to make people think otherwise, don't do their dirty work for them.

    There is, in any case, zero prospect of Blizzard prosecuting anybody for something like this for a number of practical reasons. I would imagine they would only prosecute someone for exploitative activity resulting in major damage to their game (eg, crashing world server repeatedly).

    Why iterate through the collection if you're just gonna ban the whole list anyways.

    Not saying they *would* but *should* they go after you, they could take civil proceedings under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA)

    Its moot point around Law pissing contest, suffice to say *should* they want to boot your butt for breaching their EULA and you want to fight back, it'd be a weak fight to have.
