I was hoping to buy cheap mounts, logged off when they were 15K hopping for them to drop to like 5 and but 20+, wait for few months and sell but now they are like 100K+

i was typing with a gm today about the topic,so he told me.
Players they sell the mount of AH or trade,or have maybe more than one mount exploited,they get a Ban.
The trades,gold going to be removed.
Players they still use the exploit to get the mount for the own collector they dont get any Ban,because some Players thought they can choose the gift.

Was able to get 13mounts on my second account before they fixed it.
Already sold 4 and gave a couple away, no ban or removal, EU.

Pretty much my whole friendlist used the exploit and none of them got banned/mounts removed. I'm curious about the amounts of mounts banned people produced.

If you are smart enough and put 1 mount on AH at a time chances you will get banned/reported are slim. If you put 3+ chances are much higher. ATm on my server there is a guy who has 6 on AH, if he didnt bought them when they were <10K most likely he used the exploit and such exploit should lead to perma ban, it somehow worse than using bots since you get 100s of thousands of gold ( if you sell the mount ) in minutes....

Yea, this is what I also observed recently. I was thinking the prices will go up after this hotfixed but seems drops aren't that rare and AH is getting crowded with more mounts everyday. Maybe they increased the droprates with another hotfix? Dunno. But I m sure in the long run the prices will go up again.
