Those that got the 72 hr ban, regardless how much they looted, are first time offenders. Those who got a 6 month or perma ban have been caught before for breaking the ToS

multiple accounts looting script to say generate instead 100g per loot to 1k loot based on number of accounts. Sell Gold for a set amount of USD. simple

multiple accounts sell tons of gold which is removed from buyers' accounts by blizz; confused buyers blame stores where the gold was bought, they never gonna buy a thing there again; gold selling stores never gonna buy such scam gold after the very first client's complaint; thats how it works; generally saying that some1 made cash from such amount of gold is nothing without a proof
