Insane attack power for tanks

Well I got every piece minus bracer and boots with bonus armor, most of them that was the majority stat on piece some it was the only stat. Maybe it is because my dk is 93, but I was not impressed. Nothing that I would consider an exploit I would probably be better off stacking mastery.
I'm going to try it on my monk since mrquack seems to be fairing better that I on his monk.

This is a well known thing within the Twinking community. I suppose it being posted here is a good thing. The more people abuse it the faster it'll be changed.

I've been a bit overwhelmed with the response to this and I'm trying various classes and combinations to
see if I can shed more light on it so i can answer some of the questions properly.

Been trying this out at 60-69 and 70-79 and it works pretty well there also. I'm almost always top damage,
though the gulf doesn't seem to be quite as wide as at higher levels..

A few observations that might help:

1) Every bonus armour piece seems to add exponentially to your overall performance in a bg.
2) Low lv items REALLY stack. Steel breastplate (blacksmithing low level recipe) adds 602! to your bonus armour at 90.
3) DK's seem to be the best class for this mainly due to excellent aoe.
4) Set bonuses don't scale. Nor do armour kits. Procs DO stack.
5) There is a lot of natural variation in performance mainly due to the relative strength of teams. If you can do ten times
as much damage as everyone else you aren't going to live long enough to do much of it if you get a really poor team.

Yo grats on leg. This is pretty ****in powerful, I just got a guardian druid to 90 and bought 3 bonus armor pieces - it gave me 475 bonus armor and I did more damage than the seemingly geared hunter I was with. The only problem this class has is I get kited pretty bad (although it's my first druid I'm not a pro by any means). This is a great release, thanks.

I think you're forgetting that the tank specs all have defensive mechanics that scale with their attack power. If you're good at the spec you picked, which is something I'd expect from someone wanting to abuse this, then you can live against pretty much everything for a very long time.

It's funny though, I have yet to drop a single game to one of these tank specs, and the only reason is plain and simple: people are extremely bad and can't even make good use of their OP mechanics.

I'm not forgetting that. I mean that when the best part of the entire enemy team piles into you because yours is all dead or given up, then you are going to die eventually even if your damage mitigation is at 99%. Very imbalanced matches occur quite a lot at low-level.

Yeah, actually scratch what I said about dk's, guardian seems to work even better. 3 pieces doesn't make that much difference on a dk or prot warrior.

The one time I got significantly beaten on dps in 70-79 bracket was with a bonus armour stacking guardian druid.

If you get someone very good at kiting they can still kill you in any tank form. I can do this with a mage, though it would be easier with a hunter for most people. Fortunately it takes more skill than most people have.

ive ran ramparts about 50 times cant get rings to drop. imperial plate has +100 set bonus
