Currently the option of returning 5 artifact fragments to summon Fangraal, the alliance boss, is incorrectly giving 125 rep (should be 25).
So you only need approximately 1500 artifact fragments to get exalted.

(Each full container run in Ashran gives about 800 fragments, Artifact Fragment - Currency - World of Warcraft)

If you have returning 1000 fragments, wait until fangraal dies so that you can start returning again.

Note that it does not work for the Horde side.

All across the map in Ashran you can locate and open adventurer's packs, scout satchels, iron horde caches, etc. Each containing a huge amount of artifacts and then some useable items for Ashran pvp. I have had two containers in one spot. A pack and a chest. One particular spot to check is above the doorway in Molten Quarry. There is a adventurer's pack next the the corpse remains. Was working fine for me on horde, went from friendly to revered in about 2500 artifacts. Not as bountiful as OP said but still quite a lot.

At 25 reputation per, you would gain 50k rep -- which is more than enough to go neutral to exalted.

This bug is an xpost from something posted on AJ 2 days ago. I tried it last night on Horde and it did not work. If it still works on Alliance, it ONLY works on Alliance. This poster didn't realize, but he was only receiving 5 reputation per fragment (which is correct as of the hotfixes a few days ago).

The bug is that you're SUPPOSED to get 5 reputation per fragment, but the 5x Frag to Fangraal one is giving 25 per fragment.

i think its giving 125 in horde side too, i'm not %100 sure but i turned in some last weekend and i remember seeing 125 popup in my screen.
