    How do you get a 2nd and 3 trap I lost my first one after I gained the 2nd

    you can just drop 2 of the same trap on top of each other since they CD was reduced to 15 sec.

    remember that your partymember can stack with your traps and you all get them

    I did finally get the lvl 3 barn. The only thing I would add is that you can actually get a caged beast from somebody elses mob that is grey and tapped by dropping your own trap just under it's neck. I would wait until the original attacker has gotten their trap off though or you may end up stealing it from them.

    Yesterday a GM wrote, this will be fixed soon with a hotfix

    In the german forum a GM says this too:
    Wir wollen dies mit einem zukünftigen Patch insofern korrigieren, dass eine neu gelegte Falle eine bereits bestehende despawnen lässt, ein Spieler also immer nur eine Falle aktiv haben kann.
    So you can place a trap, bring a creature in it, but when you place another trap on the same or another place, the first (with the creature) will dispawn instandly


    So i hope this change (or fix) come not before this Weekend, because i need so a lot from this creatures

    Completely unrelated to the double-trap exploit... but hysterical so I am posting it here where trappers will see it an enjoy...
    If you place a trap in the water (close enough to shore so that a land creature can wade in and get caught) one of the trapper NPCs will often spawn underwater. Toward the end of the RP animation the underwater NPC will drop dead! I assume he drowns.
    The first time it caught me by surprise. Now I just do it on purpose just for a chuckle!

    I've been using two traps per beast for over a week now - lay the first one then heal myself through the cooldown and place the second one right on top of the first.

    Was getting about a 85% success rate with this.

    Done the same this morning on 6 occasions and each time have only been getting 1 Caged Mighty Clefthoof each time.

    Wonder if they have stopped my fun?

    Would also like to point out I use my Siege Engine to solo these - seemed obvious to me but I've never seen anyone else doing it on my server. I just fly out there and trap one every time I remember inbetween doing other stuff.

    I believe it got fixed with this fix

    [Requires a realm restart] Barn: Trapping now awards a caged beast for each nearby party member with an appropriate level barn. More information regarding the change can be found on the forums.
    Not sure if this new way works so that you can be in a party of 5 and if everyone drops a trap you all get 5 caged beasts. Hope so because having to cage 36 individually will be a pain in the arse.

    Back again after conducting a bigger sample.

    The ability to put 2 Deadly Iron Traps on one beast has been prevented.

    Not even worth trying now if you want to save yourself the bother.

    Upset to hear this is fixed...
    I had been laying two Deadly Iron Traps down per beast for a couple days now since the cooldown had been reduced, and the Savage Blood was just starting to pour in.
    At least I got my iLV 670 goggles complete before it was fixed.

    It's faster now to get a group of 5 people and trap. Everyone in your party gets 1 trap, and re spawn rate was increased significantly.
