Flame Cap was not affected by the statsquish's nerfhammer - (Chance to strike a ranged or melee target for 27 fire damage. Also increases fire spell power by 54. Lasts 1 min.)

There is no CD on the use, you can keep it up. Or at least i was able to do so last night. Ill let you to figure out the rest <3

These used to share CD with DPS potion so were not viable. When I read about the change to split Healing Potions from DPS potions I went and checked them out again. Ironically after the change, they still share a cooldown with all the HP type items in game, and not DPS items. Since you can only use one HS/tonic per encounter and they kinda suck in the first place, this is a viable option.

Sadly they suck to farm and the number you could go through during progression when they only have a 1 min cooldown kinda keeps this in check.

I stockpiled flame cap because I figured they wouldn't be squished and my main is a fire mage. They used to put healthstone on CD, which wasn't a big deal, but since healthstone is only once per fight now, we can no longer keep 100% flame cap uptime. I've got nearly 1000 flame cap, but probably won't be playing fire until the 2nd tier of WoD, but it's still a nice boost.

There is this Ilvl 154 One handed Dagger that gives like 130 Spell Power. Forgot the name but was really cool.
