These things stay viable the first hour maybe. Trying to do this now is just as hard as having pvp off.

There is a other method now which is more easy.

The logout method working.

I just read through the pages here quickly and did not see this posted, I just got my wings after a few attempts due to the amount of people doing it, however I got it using a bit of an exploit.

If you follow these steps you should be able to get your wings easy

1a. Make a /logout macro
1b. Place /logout macro on your bar somewhere nice
2. Press your /logout macro
3. Talk to goblin grill and start the flying thingy
4. Fall to the ground because you're still logging out
5. Cancel logout sequence

6. Repeat steps 2-5 5times and you should get multiple stacks of the buff when you fly through a ring
