... funny that the post I made 2 pages ago gets like 80 visitors (unique) per month and over 300 views. (that's like ~3 unique people each day, and 10 views per day).

but no one has said a "thanks" (except the topic maker) :<

Go to the end of the note (blizzards editor), hold shift and press the home key, then delete, see if that fixes the problem. Or you can change his note again using my editor and leave any kind of color out of the message.

I will look into a better solution after finals week and will update the addon (possibly).

Tell your buddy to go to the guild MOTD ( where he usualy changes it ) then press End on his keyboard, then hold down BackSpace for about 20 sec... =) that should of cleared it, Write the new message and then press enter. It wont be colored anymore.

edit: Edited the first post for some more stuff and wow, this thread is still alive? o.O

The problem with colored chats is that it runs through a filter that practically keeps from color in chat. I've read in these forums somewhere about a 3rd party program that you can use to put it into chat, but I would be careful if I were you.

I've also noticed boss mods changing the color of raid warning messages. Seems like I've tried this before without success, but they got it to work at least.
