Conquest Points have never been reset twice, during a season switch, but you can do as many BGs as you can, to cap this amount.


(Keep in mind that i've been capping each week).


So it's most likely a bug.

You can't get Conquest from random BG's right now, even the Isle of Thunder quest is not giving Conquest. If either is working for you then there is another bug going on, but I'm guessing you just never bothered to actually check if you could get the points.

They stopped Valor -> Conquest quite a while ago, I don't think it was ever doable in MoP. You can still do Justice <-> Honor, but not the 'top tier' currencies.
