Instant exaltet with guild after server change

Hi guys!

So ive resently changed server on my DK... so after the server change was over, i joined my own guild that i had on the server. Ok so the next day i log into wow i see that im Exaltet with the guild allreddy... (Normally you should louse all rep when joining new guild).

So heres what to do:

1. Be in a guild that you are exaltet with.

2. (DONT LEAVE THE GUILD), and go to Battle.net and do a server change.

3. After the server change is over, join a guild.

4. Now you should be exaltet with the guild (I dident really now how this happened, but im pretty sure i where exaltet when i first got in the guild... or else try making someone promote your rank higer, or log off and log in next day as i did).

5. WUHOO!!! You are now Exaltet with your guild!

You are allowed to leave the guild on the old server because the reputation just resets when you join another guild on the old server. I changed the server with my Paladin yesterday and he was not in a guild anymore. When iI invited him in my guild on my new Server, he was exalted too. The reputation just resets with joining a guild on the OLD server.

Most likely to work, I can confirm that I joined a guild after I changed server a few days ago, I was revered, im now in a guild on my new server, and im revered there too.
Though, keep in mind, I was still leveling, im now level 90, but I were questing, so that can be another option.

I can also confirm this, it's great.

The first guild you join after a transfer you have exalted.

But I noticed if you guild quit and join a new one you'll be at 1 reputation under what you were

Exalted down to revered, honored to friendly.. etc

This is working as intended, as Mackfire said, you lose one rank when you move guilds, but this doesn't seem to be affected during server transfers. Closing the thread.
