Guess that would be possible if they are taking a FP from the same server/zone you are currently in. A once you actually got in the zone you want to be in (felwood) that the person you saw phases and is no longer visible, unless that person is from the same realm you are? Just my thought behind it.

I think if your server is hosting the CRZ it won't work. I tried it with an alt on a PvE server and saw other people while flying from Orgrimmar to Felwood. If that's the case then you'd have to try flying from Nordrassil to Felwood or try on another server.

They are not from my realm and just float there with their mounts or kill the infernals for quests. I´m the one using the flightpoint.

I tried so many times to get them but they are too far away in Org and Hyjal. Im not sure how you did it or was just luck that they were closer to it. I tried it in 3 diff servers and wasn't lucky enough to be able to battle one.

Just confirmed that Blizz has patched this workaround out of the game. Was right over one on the flight path, and when I hit the interact button, instead of getting "You need to be closer to interact with that target." error, it changed to "Cannot pet battle on a transport." Thanks for this tip - I just wish I'd found it before Blizz addressed it, because their CRZ BS is infuriating. :-/
