Another use of the warlock portal exploit on lord rivendare

Thought id mention it before it gets fixed, dont forget to use your portal when farming lord rivendare. You dont need to kill those 3 bosses anymore and the adds inside each building. Just run to the far end where the gates are closed, use the portal exploit (use eye of kilrogg and press the autorun and then spam the create portal spell until the portal is on the other side of the gate) and repeat it again on the 2nd gate. Now you can actually use portal once again on the buildings door both outside and inside so u dont have to wait for adds, bosses spawning etc just run straight to lord rivendare and loot


I know some of you probably already know it and are doing it already but id thought id mention it as I forgot about it myself until I decided to farm him some more and some of you probably havent farmed him for a while either due to the time and hassle running all over the place to unlock the gates.

As good as it sounds this would cause you to get locked out of instances because you are doing it too fast.

id still rather do it 5 times really fast then come back later than spend a whole hour doing it 5 times fully.

I cant get the eye trick to work. Maybe abit more details would help.

Its alot faster for me as if you run between all the mobs on the way you wont pull any aggro. Ofc the adds die quick but its all that extra running and running to the 3rd boss with the gate that closes and spawns very small critters you have to wait a fair amount of time there and any additional add you may pull. Sure its not saving 30min or more but it saves some time and most of all trouble, I hate all that extra running hence why I wanted to share this with others who might feel thesame. And as for running out again :P I just create another portal behind where lord rivendare is standing which gets you under the world and die from falldmg and then you will be back outside in no time. You might need to lifetap a bit before to lower your health if you got a large healthpool with gosac talent for example or just from gear. It will cost you some gold sure but I can live with that saving that time.

2. Summon your eye of kilrogg
3. Let your eye of kilrogg stand against that same wall/gate that you wanna pass and press the autorun button
4. Now press/spam the summon teleport button until you see that the portal spawns on the other side of the gate
5. When you see the portal on the other side, just cancel eye of kilrog and use your teleport and voila!


Btw. Using glyph of teleport saves you 4sec if you got nothing else useful for that 3rd glyph spot

killing yourself is a good idea that i hadn't thought of! now all i need is a quick way to get to strat from stormwing, so i would actually start farming it again :x

Complete scarlet monastery in challenge dungeon on gold and you can teleport close to eastern plaguelands :P
Otherwise its just portal to IF or twilight highlands and fly from there :/

Are you using the "demonic circle: summon" spell?

Yeah, I cast Eye of Kilrog, run up to the wall while autorunning, and when I cast Demonic Circle: Summon it kills the eye and places the portal where the eye was.

Like instead of me being able to continue casting it, I have to summon up another Eye of Kilrogg.

OMG haha, sry bout that. The original thread covers it and I didnt think of it but you need the kilrog glyph ofc >.<
