Keep "Valor of the Ancients" buff after resets

Hey found this out just now not sure if its already known but ill post anyway

i had hit the valor cap on my warrior and had 0/1000 on my warlock, after reset my warrior had kept the buff after doing some research i figured that my warlock had logged out funny an somehow it made it possible to keep the buff, to make it like this just port to stormwind or anywhere with long enough loading screen an alt-F4 on loading screen on a char that you will not be playing.
warning once you log back on the char that you did the alt-F4 on it will reset and lose buff

Amazing find if it works, but the chances of this working when the next reset hits are slim, since it gets posted now and not in 5-6 days, if anyone can confirm then +rep

This works in a totally different way:

    1. Get valor cap.
    2. When the servers reset (Tuesday US / Wednesday EU) Log in on a random character and you will see that you still have the valor buff.
    3. You will lose the valor buff when you get a loading screen or log back out.

NOTE it only applies for one character and only the first one that you log in on after the reset. Once you log out and play another char, you'll have lost the buff.

So this is useful for only one character and only to do daily´s. Since you will lose the buff when you go into a dungeon (loading screen).

Actually that is incorrect. I was withholding posting this for my own personal gain, but since you have now, here ya go.

Upon losing my acct to the *Forbidden Herb* exploit in the banwave on the 8th, I had Valor of the Ancients the entire week on the same battle.net. (Had created a new acct on the same Bnet)

    So what does this mean?

Simple.....if the account that is Alt-F4'd, disconnected from server, or otherwise disconnected due to being banned (My case), and is valor capped, it will work the entire week on any other toon until they are capped (Or any other acct on the same Battle.net). So long as you do not log back in the original capped toon.

    So what do you do?

    Simple:
    1) Cap valor manually on one toon - no trick around this. I'd suggest using a alt toon that you don't care to play much for the initial cap or its kinda pointless.
    2) The second you cap that toon, do not log out by normal means, as this will ruin it. SImply Alt-F4, or pull your internet cord =p This will avoid you from being *Saved*
    3) Now you can log in to any other toon that is capable of obtaining valor, and so long as you do not cap it at 1000, the buff will stay indefinitely. (Every week, even on loads)

Been using this on my RAF'd acct on the same Bnet, and stopping around 990 valor on each toon thats 90. Works fine. For how long? who knows.

I cannot get this to work - I followed googlebee's exact explanation now two weeks in a row. You'll have the buff on the first character you log in after weekly reset, but as soon as you experience any loading screen, you lose it.
