Inelava, Spirit of Inebriation upgrade with justice

first time contributor here... been using OC for a while, but never had anything worth posting

just like the title says, the random epic axe drop from last boss in stormstout brewery can be upgraded with 1500 justice to gain 8 ilvl on it, instead of having to use 750 valor twice like the case with other epics.

didn't post in elite because it's a random drop, and not exactly gamebreaking.

working as intended since it is a 5 man drop with lower itemlvl than LFR and valor upgrades are supposed to be for raid drops

not trying to say you're wrong, but i'm pretty sure it doesn't matter if it's a 5man drop. it's an epic and blizz stated in the patch notes that epics would require 750 valor to upgrade...

can anyone try to upgrade a different random epic 5man drop to confirm or disconfirm this?

If this was intended, all 476 weapons/trinkets would require JP instead of VP,

Since they don't this is an oversight most likely and will save lots of VP for me =D

actually they said you upgrade items with what you get when you earn them
honor for honor items
conquest for conquest items
valor for valor items / raiddrops (were bosses give valor)
justice for justice items / 5 mans (were bosses give justice)

its may be an epic but its from a point of the game were you dont need to earn valor for to get it.
im 99% sure all epics dropped from 5 man endbosses can be upgraded with justice and for me thats pretty much common sense and probably intended

I'm one of the unlucky warriors who keeps popping charms on LFR 483 1handers & 489 elegon 1handers EVERY single week without any drops. While farming my carbuncle trinket, needed about 32 stormstout runs, I was lucky enough to get the Inelava twice ^^

hell yea, i won it on my warrior a day after hitting 90, and tried to upgrade it... and then spammed for justice just to do so.

Well, let's take the darkmoon card trinkets. They also come from a point in the game where you don't need to have earned any valor, still they require valor to be upgraded. Tbh, I'm not sure whether this is, or isn't, intended; but it still goes against all other epic (minus the mentioned dungeon ones) items including those where you don't need a single VP to obtain.

Confirmed, Also works with the 476 epics you get from scenarios (well the belt haven't tested others).

I tried this on EU servers at this very moment... The tooltip for Inelava says it's upgradeable 2x (0/2) It says I need 750 valor to upgrade it at the npc...
Guess this was not intended & hotfixed very fast.

same have the jade temple mace and it needs 750 vp to upgrade...

just checked, my axe still has 1/1 upgrade and 384 ilvl
