With the Gregarious Grell pet, any damage action you deal also heals you for between 20-25% of the damage done. That includes damage from the immolate DoT. This is not listed on any tooltips, and is pretty amazing to destroy / level your pet against monsters 4-5 levels above you.

I don't see where the pet battle exploit is at... most humanoid pets heal when they hit. All you did was mention that gregarious grell heals when he deals dmg or you actually mean he attacks monsters that you are attacking and heals you for 25% the dmg he does but Im sure he doesn't attack anything that u are attacking.

Well not directly when they're hit. THey heal for like 8% I think at the end of each round (after actions and dots)
