EDIT: However, did not get saved. Some people have been reporting that it works when boss is DPSed down to 25% health, so I'll try that and report back in ~20 minutes.

It also doesnt save you to the boss... U can farm same boss over and over

Alright alright, I tried it on a different toon. Queued MSV, accepted it as soon as I could, like OP said I was around 3rd with activity, and I left at 75%, looked in mail and theres my boots. ^-^

Edit: It says im not saved to any bosses, but we'll see.

How did you manage to stay unsaved?

did you queue up instantly again?

'Cause when i did it, i wasn't saved the first 10 minutes, THEN it popped up as saved

Got boots when I damaged the boss to 25% then left, but only gold when I did it at 75%...
Worth trying it out anyways.

so you went to the raid, did first boss, left, got loot.
get in rid again, finish first boss, got to second boss, left at 75%, got loot.
get in raid again, did 1st,2nd and 3rd to 75% again and left?

was thinkig simply using a dc macro at 30% thereabouts and logging back after they kill would do the trick
so you dont have to rekill the boss to do the trick for 2nd, 3rd so on so forth
