Unable to edit my post for some strange reason, but here is my updates:

Left at 25% Elagon -> Cache
Left at 75% HoF bosses(2 of them) -> Cache both bosses

Try testing it on Elegon

Confirmed from me at least. I only wanted to test it once, but it worked on the first try. Getting loot over and over from bosses is super bannable. Just be aware

Don't think it's really banable since you cant get loot from that boss again untill next reset.

I think it's pretty obvious that you don't always get loot because of all the people saying they tried and got gold. Weird theory posts like this always get tons of replies saying it doesn't work and yet people still keep trying.
