This is easely traceable for Blizzard, and from my personal experience regarding stuff like this, it will result in a ban. However this is a great find and deserves rep.

HOWEVER.

I guess you could play "innocent" by for example sending a in game mail to another char with an item in a C.O.D mail saying something like "Hey man heres ur item", after talking to someone in game about selling an item to him (need to talk to him in game so they show up in chat logs if blizzard decides to investigate, so they can see that you were actually sending him an item). And after you send the cod mail, you migrate and he returns for whatever reason (not enough gold etc).

this is also on the official forums and resolves itself when the servers reset. so it should work till tuesday.

Okey, I can confirm that Klykan did in fact manage to duplicate his characters, so this is possible. People reported they did manage it and some did not. I guess it has something to do with the time frame in the character process you return the mail, but that's just a theory.

But read my above post if your planning to try this, Blizzard could reverse these transfers, but you could get some pretty damn good gold selling deals by duping stuff this way in the meantime.

You can do it with faction change. Figure out the rest yourself :P

One of the characters will receive a temporary name wich is really ODD, and you will be prompted to change on login, but once changed, you keep both toons..
