BMAH Works?
BMAH Works?
No, its not an exploit. what it seems like you are trying to say is that blizzard "accidentally" forgot to put a class restriction on 80+ pieces of gear. death knights and monks have no available armor, this gives people who have since rerolled from the tier 3 days, the availability to customize their class to their old-school liking even if they are a DK that used to be a full T3 warrior and miss the look. plus, without class restriction, it broadens the number of people bidding for any given item, and the whole point of the BMAH is to remove gold from the economy. the more people that bid, the more gold removed, the more successful the BM is.
Plate: Warrior, pala, dk
Leather: Rogue, dudu, monk
Mail:Shaman, bowman
Cloth: Priest, mage, lock
It's intended, stats/bonuses are there just incase there are nutheads that willing spend 2million gold for twinking purposes, RNG to 9X4=32,1 Item at any given time in AH. But hey everyone can Mog items that fits his/her class
I dont think this is expolit its working as blizzard want it to work, becuase alot of DK"S want to use Dreadnaught tier set IMO.
BTW Is there a way to get my 60 twink to the BMAH Vendor?
Going to address a bunch of stuff without quotes, sorry:
1. Tier 3 from Naxxramas was obtained with the token system we use today. Not the, Husk of the Old God from AQ40, but the near and dear "Chest of the X Vanquisher/Conqueror/Dancemaster Extraordinaire." Each of the 8 tokens (there are 9 pieces in T3 sets, but the rings dropped directly from Kel'Thuzad) were class specific as well as the chest used to turn them in. So it didn't matter that the actual items didn't have class requirements, as the tokens and the quests both had them (and obviously the gear was BoP). So it may or may not be an oversight on Blizzard's part by not adding them, like, 6 years later.
More off-topic, but still addressing people in this thread...
2. There was no PvP gear in Vanilla. Resilience was introduced in the Burning Crusade. So the best gear for PvE was the best gear for PvP. PvP-only stats didn't exist.
3. There are still level 60 raiding guilds. Most don't have any restrictions besides being level 60. But(Draka - A) is, as far as I am aware, the only pure Vanilla raiding guild. As in, no glyphs, post-Vanilla consumables, BC gear, BC enchants, no DKs, no Shaman (it's an Alliance guild), no Worgen or Draenei, non-Vanilla race/class combos, etc.
4. Also, level 60s today are much more powerful than their 2006 counterparts, even with the exact same gear. AQ20 can be 2-3 manned with competent 60s, for example.
5. Level 60s can get to the Black Market Auction House by being summoned. There is a summoning stone for the nearby raid, but it said that my 60 druid was too low of level. So I paid a warlock and two other passersby to summon me and it worked great. Dreamwalker headpiece for the Druid, Earthshatter Legplates for the Shaman.
I think that's about it.
Never realized that I could transmog, for example shaman t3 on my hunter, thanks for that.
