They are from a mountain dew event that took place last year. If you have one all your toons will continue to get it. Nice find.

This is a huge find, but I urge you not to use it, it's basically a gold dupe which is EXTREMELY easy to trace (They can basically do a query to see who's received an unusual amount of ignition keys, and seeing how it actually is an infinite gold method - blizzard will sure as hell be on their toes, you _WILL_ get permanently banned for this.

Ya this is a dupe that you would never want to do on your main account as you'd very easily get tracked -- hence why something like this should be in Elite/Legendary forums imo instead of regular lol -- prob too late

You can buy this pet from the vendors in org the goblin that walks around, its posted on here.
Its like - 350g.

& you can still purchase it from him whether you have it learned or not

looks like it has been fixed, all my mounts and pets sent via mail are no longer there when i create a lvl 1 toon.

On EU realms, these are currently sold from vendors for 500G with no rep. Not sure how much they are with the rep discount.
The vendors include: Blax Bottlerocket - NPC - World of Warcraft (Orgrimmar), Clockwork Assistant - NPC - World of Warcraft (Dalaran), Craggle Wobbletop - NPC - World of Warcraft (Stormwind), Jepetto Joybuzz - NPC - World of Warcraft (Dalaran)

Not sure why people are recieving them in mail, unless your on a US server.

That is the bug, receiving them in the mail. I used to get them everytime I would start a new character, but back before 5.0.4, they did not have a sell price. When Blizzard made it so you could buy this pet, it automatically got assigned a sell price; but Blizzard overlooked it and forgot to code it so it doesn't get mailed to those who actually participated in the Mtn Dew promotion period. Thus is why (and if you want to get perma banned quickly) you could keep creating new characters, and selling them to vendors for the 125g, infinitely. Granted you hadn't already learned the warbot.
