[Sploit] Use Potion of Illusion in Arena

Ok this is very easy to do

    1. Have either one person out of your party change into something you want to use potion of illusion on in gurubashi arena.
    2. Right as the queue pops use potion of illusion on him (Make sure he is a hostile target) then you should get potion of illusion as a debuff.
    3. Now enter arena... Success

    - If you don't have a extra person to do this with you can leave the party when the arena match pops and use the potion on each other to make it a debuff then enter arena.

This should provide you with some enjoyment till it gets fixed [=
Enjoy Everyone and here is a video guide.

At best this is a [Visual] debuff. what Advantage does this provide? they can tell what class you are still via mouseover or name color... etc.

does it work to do this with potions that makes you smaller? so first you take a potion for example noggenfogger then another guy do illusion on you and he's smaller without the noggenfogger elexir? maybe this way you cna be really tiny in arenas and hard for the enemy to get a hold on.

Last time I checked an exploit is using a mechanic that's not its intended purpose and not necessarily to gain an unfair advantage

What unfair advantage over other players do you have here? looking like a bird? they can still instantly get your class via arena frames or any other method (mouseover, seeing what color your name is)

therefore this provides no unfair advantage over other players. its a visual glitch. and deserves the [Visual] tag.

The point he was making was that a glitch does not necessarily need to convey an unfair advantage, which is accurate. I think you might have misread what he wrote. That being said, yeah, there's nothing wrong with asking for the visual tag here.

EDIT: Also, nice quote in the sig. Shen an Calhar FTW.

thankee. Carai an Caldazar! though the Aiel are cooler imo. but the whole "Spit in sightblinders eye" quotation wont fit in my siggy.

An exploit (or as the op has chosen to call it, a "sploit") on this site is defined as providing an unfair advantage over other players. this does not provide an unfair advantage. therefore it is not an exploit (Sploit, as the OP calls it in the title). it is a [Visual] glitch. Visual glitches do belong in this forum area, but the name of the OP needs to be changed to reflect that this is a visual glitch, not an exploit.

Why are you arguing this TehVoyage?

You realize the exploit is that you are not suppose to look like this in arena right?

Arena is suppose to remove all debuffs and buffs, hence why you can't use a deviate delight, noggenfogger or other such items in arena. This also provides a lot of fun and a WTFFactor in arena which everyone loves

One unfair advantage is for druids shifting constantly and looking the same, not many people focus on the druid form buff they usually look physically at a druid to determine which form he is in.

Also play a rogue and change into a feral cat and open on someone the first thought in their mind is not gonna be hey look a rogue is on me. It will be more like "hey feral, wait rogue, huh, wtf?"

This is more of a unfair advantage on the human Psyche rather then the game mechanics themselves.

Which other forum would this belong in?
I don't see many guides that can get you banned

Interesting find +rep! Not that it really matters, but Voyager is right about tagging the thread.
