Druids+potion of illusion= flying insanity and more!

4.1 just went up and i'm posting this between resets.

find a form you can copy, ( another druid as a bear is fun ), use a potion of illusion, then shift into flight form. instead of turning into a bird, you keep the illusion.

aside from flying, you can be a kitty in human form or a bear in kitty form, or naga in cheetah form, whatever your fancy. lots of fun in bg's to confuse people.

try it before it's fixed!

I can explain why this is happening.


Blizzard made the potion of illusion overwrite ALL other shapeshift buffs to prevent people from abusing potion of illusion plus Deviate/lifegiving seed/etc to do random things like becomming super huge, mounting as a moonkin / treant, etc. however to keep druids from being completely borked, we can still shapeshift, only the APPEARANCE is overwritten.

Protip cat form druids look HILARIOUS swimming through the air at 310%.

Also, it's fun to watch hunters trying to "Scare beast" you or druids "Hibernating" you while you are in human form.
