Sorry for the thread rezz, but does this still work?
Just got TLPD thanks !
+ Simply move a bit every hour and you don't get disconnected
Glad I could help![]()
Last time I tried, keeping your calendar open on WoW won't get you disconnected (incase this Diablo method isn't working)!![]()
/run local f=CreateFrame("Frame")f:RegisterEvent("PLAYER_CAMPING")f:SetScript("OnEvent", function() local p=StaticPopup_Visible("CAMP")_G[p.."Button1"]:Click()end)
This script is from the RedRussian, this is not mine.
It simply makes /logout impossible, therefore can't be disconnected due to AFK.
Also, if it's only for Aeonaxx and TLPD and other rare, if you're using the blocking method (peerblock/windows firewall), if you see the message: Transfer Aborted: Instance not Found, this means you can't get disconnected either (try /logout in this blocked realm, it will never work).
Did it ever happened to you, when you're smoking a cigarette and you try to get it out from your mouth but your lips are so dry that your fingers go to the fire instead because the cigarette is stuck on your lips?
If you're getting annoyed by the AFK messages in chat you can simply disable system messages in your chat settings.

This might have been fixed since this macro was made public one or more year ago.
this windowed mode seems to work if you are actively doing something else on the computer. ive been messing around on it all day without being in wow and it hasn't given me the 20 second count down.. i walk away from my computer for a few minutes to cook dinner and i hear the warning go off for 20 second count down.
The only thing that i think could work to keep you perma logged in would be to try this.
Run in windowed mode.
and if you know you will be walking away from the computer for an extended period of time run an auto clicker program right over where the 20 second window pops up.. make sure your mouse is focused on the windowed wow program so that when it does click it cancels the log out. you could have it set to click your MOUSE 1 button every 15- 20 minutes over the designated area.
I have used this method before when i camp out over night at my computer waiting for one of them to spawn..... i would always have it summon a mount but that can get you caught up for boting im sure. just now thinking of it i might try the clicker over night..
as much as my girlfriend will be pissed about hearing the wings of my mount flap flap flap flap flap flap... lol OH WELL!
The critter aggro doesn't work anymore?
nice way to skip the queue after the addon release
+rep for you Sir!
If you go to Sound in Background and enable it (put a check in the box), you can have anything else open and still hear the alert from npcscan.
Go to Menu - System - Sound - and enable Sound in Background
Now you don't have to worry about missing alerts
