Indeed, many accounts were perma banned, some even months later for "Abuse of Customer Support Staff." Really this method has been whored out so much, I would highly caution against it. Having your name on the account isn't worth risking the entire account itself. Only once in the past two months has customer support changed the name over the phone for me. All the other times I've had to wait for a supervisor to sign off on it, though with my method works out.
