Did you do anything special with this that would get you reported like killing people in SW or BGs or did you simply just play around with the Invisibillity?

I got 72 hour suspension for killing ppl in Stormwind and using it in BG's to gain achievements.

The only way to get banned for doing this would be to kill people while invisible, and get reported by them. I only got the account warning, but may have a suspension on the way.

You can also raise attention to yourself by defending towers and graveyards in Alterac Valley while the trick is active. Also Arathi Basin and other BG's where a flag needs to be capped. All they have to do is check the BG score to see who is re-capping every 10 seconds and they will surely see your name and report you that way also. If your bg'ing/pvping, best way to go is stealth healer.

1- Took the quest, canceled the cinematic then abandoned the quest
2- Used hearthstone, took quest, canceled the cinematic then abandoned the quest
3- Invited someone to party and did step 1 & 2...

Wilosoft, I haven't done this exploit myself, but from reading the thread, I would suggest that you try to cast something, then accept the quest WHILE you are casting. That will apparently bug the cinematic, at which point you can end the bugged cinematic and then abandon the quest. Check out Aegean's post below... hopefully that works for you. Good luck.

@ Teryaki2 Ya we noticed that if you start casting anything, literally anything, and then accept the quest, it will bug the cinematic causing you to just stand there on the horse, at which point you end cinematic and abandon quest and voila are bugged. But we figured, since it works, just ending the cg was simplier heh. However, maybe the ppl having issues recreating this will have more luck with the cast method.

No. You sir have it all wrong. DO NOT ABANDON THE QUEST. Just do the quest, cancel the cinematic. THEN do whatever you were planning to do, bg que pop or whatever.

It was working fine when I did the following:
1) Qued for BG, let it pop and waited 60 seconds
2) Begin casting hearthstone
3) Accepted quest and cancelled cinematic and hearthstone cast
4) Accepted BG que

Then I got banned for 48 on an alt acc for being too obvious. (getting achieves for ghost capping flags)
Be careful about getting an achievement, they can see that and your name.
In BGs like AB and Battle for Gilneas, they will also see your name if you assault a node.

Not sure if it has been fixed, I still only got the account warning so I don't really wanna test to see if it works. They can track that stuff in logs, and I just don't wanna risk it. If its worth anything, I had the quest in my quest log still, and I abandoned it and was rephased again (right in front of Lady Sylvanas), so it might still be working. Just keep trying the method where you cast Hearthstone, accept the quest, exit cinematic, cancel Hearthstone, and queue for BG or something. I like to test it by throwing a non-damaging spell on the Worgen that are fighting, like Slow on my Mage. That way, if I go into combat and it comes after me, I know it didn't work. If it doesn't come after me, it worked. Hope this helps.

Upon logging back in after my 48 hour suspension the quest is either disabled or completed (for that character) most likely the latter although I haven't tested to see if I could obtain the quest on any other chars yet.

Hey Ownedcore. Glad to see everyone had as much fun with this one as we did heh. Unfortunately we are inbetween accounts atm and are unable to test it to 100% verify it is still working, hopefully a member can help us out and give some clarity on the subject. IV is going to be taking a small break for a bit we've decided. We've been releasing epic exploits frantically for 2 months straight now and think it's time for a breather heh. We also are in the process of acquiring some of the essential tools of the trade, (2 seaters, rocket boots, etc), on our new accounts. Which we need for the next set of videos we had planned. We'll keep you guys in the loop, and probably post some fun stuff along the way, like always. Until then you stay classy Ownedcore.

@Ducktart Excluding a summon, the fastest way to get to SW is probably a mage port to Stonard, or the Blasted Lands Portal. Also the buff lasts about 10m, though it can vary at
times, and every now and then just fizzles for no reason hah.

@Dubstepkilla Ninja healer ftw.

@Wilosoft Although it appears to be very very rare, I do know one other person who was unable to do this from day 1, can't imagine why tho. :/
