I cannot get this to work for some reason. I accept the quest, cancel the cutscene, run to the exact spot in your video, and abandon the quest. When I put a spell on the mob, it just come right after me as if I was visible again. I have tried around 20 times now and same result. On a US server. 2/11/2012 at 9:24pm PST.

I had this same problem however, once I invited a buddy to my group and left the group like the OP does in his video it WORKED. Might want to try that. 2/11/2012 at 9:42pm PST.

Just tested it again and it's working fine. Honestly have no idea why it wouldn't work for you. I've done it every which way with people in group, without people in group, in raids, dungeons, bg's, etc. Hope you get it to work!

you said in the Godmode/Trade Bug thread that a new video is coming .. this is meant or is there a second part, for dupe method with this exploit ?

@ Yataka We had originally planned on releasing more vids involving the trade window exploit, but then we got banned. We already had secondary accounts for such a situation but regrettably couldn't get them high enough lvl to be of any real use for a part 3. The dupes we knew assosciated with that exploit have been fixed at this point. And this video is indeed the video I was referring to a couple days ago when I said new vid on it's way.

You actually only need to do 12, before you get the 13th quest which is the one needed to do this. It's not that bad

Yes you can use this multiple times as long as you dont complete it.

just did strand of the ancients, first round they didnt see me at all, 5 mill damage the whole game. im currently trying for arenas, no luck so far.

*edit* 5 arenas tried, no luck at all.

Was using this and ganking people in SW till GM messaged me. From the information i gathered he knew about the quest and how u do it. I believe this is gona get patched soon. Also he was pretty cool about it, it was a "boys will be boys' feel. I gotta say this exploit has given me the most fun on wow than anything else ive ever done on this game

Tried this about 100 times. No luck. Eu servers.
Nwm. Took queset, canceled cinematic, abandoned quest while I was in BG and it worked.

Im finding that if i kill a mob before i abandon the quest, theres a higher chance of it working. try that.
