Could anyone elaborate on how to do the trade exploit? I've never been able to get that part to work :/
Could anyone elaborate on how to do the trade exploit? I've never been able to get that part to work :/
Can't really explain it any better than this (this is assuming you will be the one bugged, not your friend):
1. Open a trade near an instance portal with a friend, and press accept.
2. Your friend presses accept RIGHT before entering the instance (less than a second window here)
3. Test by walking in the instance. If you can enter, the timing wasn't right.
This is especially easy if your friend has a mage with blink. He/she presses blink at the same time as pressing accept..works really well.
We've tried this ALOT of times, it does say cancelled but I can enter portal every time... I do have blink but that didnt work better at all... We're doing exactly as everyone else but it has never really worked except for godmode a while ago but I couldnt move.
Yeah =/ I'm with you... I've been trying it over the last 1-2 hours without one single success. I'm with 2 accounts logged in, 2 WoWs opened on Windowed Mode... I tried everything, including the "Click and Blink", but upon trying to enter the instance with the bugged toon, it actually entered all the time, instead of being "glitched".
If this hasn't been fixed yet, I think that latency might affect this process. I play with 180-230ms, so I was basically logged in with both accounts with latencies around these numbers. However, if someone reports success with similar latency or higher than that, then I guess I'm wrong.
In any case, I will keep trying here, but so far, I can't even get the toon bugged from the Trade Window...
Meh. TCG mounts. go buy a Spectral Tiger.![]()
(don't post things I post to Patreon.)
Im incidentally playing on a realm with HUGE delay in orgimmar. Might want to test another realm.
This used to work during 4.2.2 with turning Small Heavenly Shards into Heavenly Shards; as well as with crafting items such as True Gold. With Archaeology you could make items like http://www.wowhead.com/item=64486(Word of Empress Zoe) again and again, without using any of the mats and they would combine into stacks of 20. That's 375(Gold)x20 per stack, which would only fill up one inventory slot. That's 7500(Gold) per slot in your in bags; so you can get the largest bags in the game which I think is 65-70 slots in total. So 65x7500=487500 Gold every 15 minutes by only selling to vendors.(You also have to factor in the part where you would delete one off of each stack)

sweet jesus, please dont get fixed tomorrow
Confirmed working on US server. Sadly I just started playing again so I don't have a lot of gold to play with. I can't even buy any mounts on my AH right now they're all over 10,000 gold lol
bought the Vial of the Sands mount, given it to 7 friends including my friends' alts and my alts etc
Posting in an epic fail thread.
@RaoV & Leniox
Honestly, I fail at finding appropriate means to measure the emptyness of your fool's skulls.
Anyone with half the brain of a duck would have either kept it for itself, or share in a much more precautionous way with wise people...
...in fact anything but releasing it publicly in big letters on Blizzard's #1 NerfThisShitCauseImDumb forum boards for a bunch of rep. / YouTube subscribers / Eg0...
Character states & buffers are the last & only sources of some of the most MAJOR exploits (due to their semi-serverside nature) that were/are still running on retail servers.
Playing with those open the doors of a vast world of strange behaviours among which some of the sickest exploits lay...
It seems you guys didn't realize what you had in your hands, what you have partially destroyed already and soon to be.
Let me explain.
First off, eventhought they never were publicly released with in depths details about what was actually happening, those "exploits" are VERY old and nothing Cataclysm related. They first surfaced in between 1.10 & 1.12 patches (vanilla) when Blizzard made huge client<>server changes; they came up to light again at Burning Crusade launch as tons of new features were added. Most of them simply rely on different character states & interactions, and/or desynching your character from the server (tons of different methods to achieve this were/are dooable without any form of hacking) This is approximatly when I & a good friend (dunno about others) explored the core of those unexpected mechanics.
Here are some of the most noticable ones we managed to pull out back then (under various conditions):
*CheatDeaths (what you guys called godmodes, they come in several flavors, alive with 0hp being the only true "godmode" as you are dead for players & mobs (can walk among them without aggroing) while being able to attack them with auto-attacks)
*Invisibility
*Stats spoofing (buff stacking, item with use & class skills/talents)
*Item perming (in case of conjured items)
*Various item duplication methods
*Unlimited uses consumables (won't disappear when used)
*Bugged item (only worked for items with open gem sockets)
*Immunity to environmental damage (fall/breath/lava/fatigue)
*Access to unwalkable lands (-500 & under)
*Unlimited summons (works with non combat pets aswell, you can pull the same one out again & again, and/or other pets)
*Disconnect nearby players
*Offline play
*Crash instance/world servers
*Character stuck (uncontrollable)
*Character corruption, unrecoverable bugged state which GMs seem unable to fix with the usual teleport/cancelaura tricks (Took them three days back then, and I ended up with a 'rollbacked' version of my character)
Remember that these come my own experiments; I haven't tested every single packet but the most; this list is far from complete but still a solid base of what used to be done. Other interesting side effects are noticeable as well without any data/packet editing, in a much more limited way thought.
Eventhough I never went into this deep testing since then, I can confirm that most of those 'features' (at least all the ones I felt like trying again) were still working fine after Wotlk hit. I stopped WoW back then so I never had a chance to test all the new packets & interesting mechanics (phasing, x-seats-mounts, etc) but we can assume without a doubt that they made news things (which are still to be found) possible.
Back on topic, what you've made here, Raov and/or Leniox, is the stupidest move.
By publicly exposing one of the legit ways of getting a bugged state (what you called TWE) + Offline play (Logout) + desynch from server (go to another ADT then the one you bugged+offlined on), you're just holding out a massive spoon to Blizzard, and giving them a reenforced reason to definitely get rid of this.
Great job, after Demonkunga @ Model Editing, you RaoV just gave clear evidence of your huge lack of knowledge/maturity, and place yourselves as good candidates for the dumbest 'exploiters' of the decade award.
Clap!
You win nothing but eternal contempt.
Noobs...
If only ignorance could turn one mute...

P.S: In before haters/flames/insults.
P.S²: to those you might think i'm just shit, see how I was already hinting for it this thread years ago:
http://www.ownedcore.com/forums/worl...ml#post1604044 ([warrior] Dual Wield Unique 2Handers)
I'm clearly a noob when it comes to exploits but i'd rather see one awesome exploit used by a lot of people for a limited time than having this exploit only used by 2-3 for years.
I can see how it can disgust you to see the potential of these exploits spoiled but heh, for me cheatdeath as you call it and unlimited use of consummables is already awesome, even for few hours.
I'm not even using them, i just like to know they exist![]()

Meh, maybe they are just trying to give back to the community.
