Even easier is if you have a mouse like the mx1000 like me, you can use the bottom scroll button and it will autorun also. Very useful and I couldn't be without it.

If you use metamap, you can steer and have the map open at the same time also.

But u can use meta map and zoom out while holding right button to get a full continent view, i use it cause of epic flying mount, line up with certain zones and such for lame tailor cooldowns.

Why dont you sett a waypoint ? then u get a a red arrow pointing where in the dirrection your going showing estimated time left and how many yards its left
