Camp a rare-spawning spot while asleep

Requirements:

- _NPCscan
- AC Tool
- (Earphones, if you don't want to wake other people)

Clear _NPCscan cache, move to the spot you want to camp, set your sound on max, set a few lines like this:

Delay 613523
Keys {SPACE}

below each other in the commands and macro's tab in AC Tool, set number of times to run to something like 50, alt-tab back into WoW again, (plug in your earphones), go to bed, dream about Alyssa Milano, wake up during the foreplay because of the npcscan alarm, and come when you see your rare walking around.

Have fun with your new pet!

AC Tool is a very easy little program, that you in this case only use to set a press-spacebar-script, so I doubt it's detectable by Blizz, unless of course you use only like 1 or 2 different intervals (10 should be enough).

Go to Sound Options and turn on Sound in Background.

easier way w/o botting:

use a keyboard with hardware macros. such as Razers BlackWidodow and such.
Make a Hardware Macro of the following:
{
Press Space.
delay 600 seconds (10 min)
}
assign it to a key with the function "Do this till i press the key again"
Prawfit.

Here's an easier way of camping WITHOUT getting banned that I personally used for TLPD and Aeonaxx aswell as a fair few of my hunter's rarespawn pets.

What you need:
A strong fan,
A piece of paper.
Sticky Tape,
NPCscan
Earphones/Speakers.

What you do:

Put paper under your mouse, preferably folded at the side. Point your fan at your mouse. Turn your fan on max. Your mouse should be flickering violently due to the paper moving around underneath it. Now Sticky tape the right mouse button down. Your characters view should be shaking and spinning, or just moving slightly now and then. Turn up speakers/put in earphones. Sleep.

Works!

If you're already using hacks anyway, the RareAlert.lua script for NoAddiction is *way* better than _NPCScan, it does not use the cache to detect, and it already auto targets rares when it finds them. (and with a little more effort you could set NoAddiction to teleport to the rare once it's targetted, as well as use the AutoLoot.lua)

As far as I know automatic character movement with a fan and a piece of paper is just as bannable at automatic character movement with a macro-keyboard or software macro program.

Im not sure why you believe its not bannable.
