Free Rogue 2pc T6 as Assassination (5% free melee attack speed)

Currently HaT combo points aren't removed after switching specs, allowing you to get 5 up from heals before any boss fight/attempt (healers usually heal pre-fight to get up their spirit 4pc set bonuses, etc).

1. Make sure you're Sub spec with Honor Among Thieves while everyone is buffing/healing up before an attempt and be targetting the boss. If you don't get 5CP before it's time to pull, ask for heals before you hit the ready check.
2. Switch to your normal Assassination spec when you get the 5CPs.
3. Have your 2pc T6 equipped (any two pieces) and when it's time to pull, put up a Slice and Dice with the combo points, then switch to your normal gear. (equipment manager makes this easier/faster, just put the gear sets on your bars).
4. The Slice and Dice should keep being refreshed by Cut to the Chase, and stay at 45% instead of 40% like usual.

The old Sub mastery as Assassination bug was fixed by removing SnD + premed points after switching specs, but since HaT points stay, this part is still possible. 5% attack speed is a decent DPS increase especially considering poison procs, but I haven't seen this posted by any other Rogues or known by anyone else besides me and the Rogue I've told before this in guild.

That was fixed (like the last post of the thread you linked says, I also referred to it in my original post). The old way allowed you to get up to 30% attack speed because of the mastery, but people didn't realize that HaT combo points aren't removed even after the hotfix that made SnD/Premed points disappear after changing specs. So you can still get a free 5%, which is a lot less than the old 30%~, but it's something, and a sort of a big DPS increase still.

I haven't seen this posted anywhere, including here or EJ, so I figure this part isn't known. I've known about it ever since the mastery exploit was fixed, but haven't seen anyone say anything about it so I figured I wouldn't post it for awhile so I could use it without it getting hotfixed.

ive been using this all xpac and have top 5 mutilate dps on a lot of fights (on world of logs) , and to be honest i kind of hate you for posting this because now they will fix it.

Yeah somebody sharing a exploit on a exploit website...Madness! With your logic they should just close down this website and others like it and everybody keep w/e they find to themselves.

There are private sections where there are exploits you probably don't know about.

Not everything in posted here in this section for leechers like yourself to use and then ungratefully complain about it afterwards.

Donate a bit of money like most of the scrubs here and you'll be set with all the "non-garbage exploits".
