farm epics in BWD solo (as a class with a pet lock/mage/dk/etc)

farming epic drops off bosses solo (takes a bit of time unless you do another trick)
on my server almost all the dragon drops sell for 15k+ so 6-45 minutes of this is worth it if you get a drop normal non epic drops are basically just 20g and a few cloth. so do it at your own risk!

1. pull maimgor with your pet while you run to the elevator to the top room
2. run to omnitrons room and stand in the middle of the divider of the room
3. resummon pet and wait for maimgor
4. as maimgor approaches the top of the stairs run down the oposite side of the stairs and send in your pet to attack
5.continue to run up and down the stairs kitting maimgor (DO NOT GET WITHIN LOS OF MAIMGOR OR YOU WILL DIE!)
6. continue running up and down the stairs avoiding the side maimgor is on while you continue to summon your pet as maimgor aggros onto him (takes about 4-5 summons until you have perma maimgor aggro)
7. win

this is where the exploit part of this comes in and not just a kitting tactic while doing this there is no way of completly having to restart on maimgor. if he manages to kill you he will walk to the elevator and bug there just attack him a few times until your able to send your pet in eventually one of two things will happen. 1 he will begin to walk towards you with the exact same amount of health he killed you with. or 2. he will basically become a training dummy and you can just spam the hell outta your spells on him and kill him without him even moving (done this a few times but on a few attempts i found at a certain amount of time he'll reset to either his first spot or he'll begin to walk towards you)

NOTE!!! THIS WILL NOT WORK ON FLAMGOR HE REQUIRES A TOTALLY DIFFERENT TACTIC AND HE WILL KILL YOU!. thank you for reading and GL on your drops <3

Ok if i understand this right YOU are not hitting the mob your PET is correct?......how are you holding aggro then? Without LoS too.

Yeah i tried it

Here is what I can see.

You drag it to the top floor (up the elevator) and then you could kite it or just burst DPS and die. Fly back, burst dps, die fly back burst dps. The HP does not reset.

The tac with the pet is not cool as my pet gives next to no dps and it will tage aggro and die. So after 2 hours with the kite strat i got like 10-15% off him (water elemental).

Can you explain a little more how to do this?

Isn't there 2 trash mobs at the top of those stairs in front of omnitron?
so technically you can only do this if you or the person you're grouped with has omnitron downed?

First two bosses have to be killed before you can even get to the mob. The gate is closed otherwise.

If you use some form of no clip hack to get through the closed gate u can still perform this exploit in a fresh raid. the mobs at the top of the stairs by omnitron dont agro but if u allow maimgor to breath towards them they will agro, fortunatly he waits on the elevator for ur return if u mess up like that.

what about this months brew? has anyone with brewfest beet tried using it to fear through the gate? or would it be impossible to even get to the gate? I've never been in BWD

I cannot seem to get him to bug like this, and when it seems like i get it he suddenly breaks loose again, any ideas?

I tryed this on both of the dragons. They just reset or stay on the elevator looking like it worked i start to kiill them, they kill me and then reset completly. I am on unholy DK.
